Pension scheme

To create a new pension scheme in software, click on the “+” button or the relevant option to add a new scheme. A form will open where you need to enter the required details, such as the scheme name, contribution rates, employer and employee contributions, and scheme type. After completing the form, click “Save” to create the scheme. Once saved, the pension scheme becomes available in the software, and eligible employees can be enrolled based on the configured settings.

Assignment

To assign employees to a pension scheme in software, go to the assignment page and select the relevant employee(s) from the left sidebar. Enter the assigned date, which marks the start of their pension contributions. Review the auto-populated scheme details to ensure accuracy, then click "Save" to complete the assignment and link the employee’s payroll to the selected scheme.

Users can also assign employees to a pension scheme by importing them via a CSV file. To do this, click on the "Import" button, upload the CSV file containing all the required details and then click "Save". The employees listed in the CSV file will be assigned to the pension scheme on the specified date.

  • Edit – Allows users to update pension details for the selected employee.

  • Opt-out / Opt-in – Enables users to process an employee opt-out or opt-in from the pension schemes by entering the required details, including the relevant dates and reasons.

  • Postpone – Temporarily pause pension contributions by specifying the start date, end date and reason.

  • Cease scheme – End the employee’s pension scheme by providing the cease date and reason.

  • Left – Record the date from which the employee stops contributing to the scheme.

  • Email – Send emails directly to the client.

Employee enrolment

This software enables users to enrol employees into NEST and Smart pension schemes through online enrolment directly via the respective pension portals integrated with the system.

To proceed, select the relevant pension scheme from the dropdown menu, choose the employees, and click on "Online Enrolment" to enrol them directly through the pension portal. Alternatively, users can download the CSV file and upload it manually to the pension portal.

Note: Employees assigned to the NEST or Smart pension scheme can be enrolled online through the system. Additionally, the client must be connected to the respective NEST or Smart pension scheme for online enrolment to work.

Contribution

This software allows users to submit employees’ pension contributions for NEST and Smart pension directly to their respective portals through the system.

To proceed, select the relevant period and pension scheme from the dropdown menu. The system will display a list of employees who are assigned to the selected pension scheme and whose payroll has been processed for the chosen period.

Select the employees for whom you wish to submit the contribution and click on "Contribution" to proceed.

Alternatively, users can download the contribution data for the selected employees in CSV format and upload it manually to the respective pension portal to complete the submission.
