Access Code
Access codes are a crucial security feature designed to enhance protection and facilitate secure information sharing. An access code acts as a second layer of authentication, in addition to a password, making unauthorised access significantly more challenging. This two-step verification process is used by a lot of software platforms like HMRC gateways, accounting softwares, etc to ensure that sensitive and confidential information is shared securely. You can generate access codes within Acting Office on a single click for all such platforms requesting access code as a security layer, helping to avoid use of different authenticator apps and devices.
