Add an accountant's report to accounts

Where accounts report are being certified by an accountant, we might have to include accountants' report.

Adding an accountant to the practice

  1. In the tax and accounts module, only admin users have the option to access general settings and add accountants for the entire practice.

  2. Select 'Accountant' from the left panel and click on '+Add' button to add a new accountant. Fill in the required details, select the accounting body and then click on 'Save' to confirm.

  1. Go to the 'Client' section to continue with the process of creating accounts.

  2. Navigate to the 'Settings' menu located at the top right corner and select 'Notes' from the list.

  3. Choose the 'Accountant's report' within the 'Notes' section.

  4. Click on 'Edit accountant', select the accountant from the dropdown list. Enable the corresponding checkboxes as needed to display the accountant's name on the business information page, or to remove the dotted signature line in the accountant’s report.

  5. If you prefer to show the firm name instead of an accountant’s name, then enter the firm name and office location. Mark the relevant checkboxes to replace the firm name in the business information page and in the accountant report page, if required. Click on 'Save accountant' to finalise the changes.

  6. To edit the content, click on the 'edit' button adjacent to the related note.

  7. Click on 'Save' to finalise the changes.

Alternatively, you can quickly edit the content within the 'Accountant’s report' section in accounts report.

  1. Click on the 'Edit' button situated adjacent to the respective notes.

  2. Click 'Save' to finalise the changes.
